It is with great sadness and extreme sorrow that we mourn the passing of a legend. He gave us so many fun hours, so much innocent childhood pleasure, and now he has moved on.
He gave us, at the very least, Ivor (pssshhhtakuff, pssshhhtakuff), mice who will wash you and will mend you, Professor Yaffle (a carved wooden bookend in the shape of a woodpecker) and of course, the Clangers. Without whom we would not have had the Soupdragon.
Thank you Oliver Postgate. We still love you!
