(1945 – 2005)
It’s anniversary time again. Not a nice one, just an anniversary, and this is one as should be observed. Been two years already, has it? Funnily enough, without knowing it, I were watching the first episode of ‘Supernatural’ season two, ‘In My Time Of Dying’, on the actual date in question.
And we all know what happened there.
Does that make it alright to blub like a girl?
I’m not saying I did, mind. Not really.
“Your Name”
by Edgar Albert Guest.
You got it from your father;
It was all he had to give.
So it’s yours to use and cherish
For as long as you live.
If you lose the watch he gave you,
It can always be replaced,
But a black mark on your name, son,
Can never be erased.
It was clean the day you took it
And a worthy name to bear;
When he got it from his father,
There was no dishonour there.
So make sure you guard it wisely;
After all is said and done,
You’ll be glad the name is spotless
When you give it to your son.
There we all, all done now. Will be with you all again after the amazing Aaron concert of tomorrow night.
Peach and lube.

Wanna swap? My mum is still here. She'll be here for the next millenium....
Saw the Doc the other night on a show about learning to drive - forget its title now - n he was excellent!
"Learners", perchance? Hmm, will get right back to sourcing a copy.... Tried and failed last week, obviously I were jumping the gun a bit.
:)
Great telly Friday though, weren't it?
Ta.
